This is a 1950 magazine advertisement for levolor Venetian Blinds made by Levolor Lorentzen, Inc. - Levolor is the most recognized name in the window covering industry. Since 1914, Levolor blinds have set the industry standard for superior engineering and innovative design. Levolor offers a selection of commercial window treatment systems for basic window covering needs or specialty installations, new construction or building renovation. Hans Lorentzen, founder of Levolor was the first to bring consumers the versatile 1" slat mini blind. Before that, the industry offered only 2" slat blinds in one color -- white. Although white remains consumers' #1 choice in blinds, Levolor now offers an abundance of whites in various shades with hints of pink, green, gray, yellow, tan, blue and more. The factory is currently located in High Point, North Carolina.
