1940's T.V. soo kool!!
You have real Great taste! When I look at it I almost see the "I LOVE LUCY" show.
"I Love Lucy"! We kids watched the indian test pattern for weeks before they got the station going! We marveled at it! Remember the 1st session they told us that they could only broadcast for 15 mins because the air/co hadn't been finished to cool the tubes in their equip.. Finally went to 30 mins before it would overheat. We still marveled at how this came thru the air.
Oops, giving away my age!
Your right! You gave away your age. (Ha Ha) I'm not quite that old. LoL
I'm 66, act 33 & feel 99!
Real Cute! Sounds allot like me. However I was right, like I said I'm not quite that old. LOL. I don't know what time it is where you are, but it's (11:06pm) here way pass my bed time. OK now I am starting to show my age. LOL
Girl, personally knew a slave when I was a kid of about 5 yrs. He wasn't sure of his age at the time when his mother & father were lined up & shot by union troops, but guesses about 5 yrs old. He watched from under the burning plantation house while his mother & father were lined up with the woman of the house & shot. He said his older sister held her hand over his mouth to keep him from screaming. At 90 something, I remember seeing tears come to his eyes & almost wish I hadn't asked him about those times.
Sherman said war was hell & he certainly did everything to make it that way. All of us kids loved "Pap" as he told us the Brere Rabbit stories etc.. Sad story but true. I've tried to share this true account with recorders of history, but they say they can't publish anything that makes the federals look bad. So much for real history!
Night Kathy, I'll plead the fifth on my age, well pour the fifth anyways. DinoMan, nice vintage TV, Thanks for sharing and feel free to delete my comments or not.
