I have a japanese pottery vase of unknow age or potter.
Measures: 10" tall aprox.
i have no ideal just how old it really is ...
I am trying to figure out what, & when this item was used.

Hi sal, the mark 'Made in Japan' was used from 1921 until 1941, and then again after the occupation from 1953 onward. The mark indicates it was probably intended for export as items made for home use had no marking requirement. Unless someone recognizes the piece or style, dating is iffy, but my guess would be post-1953. Regards, Jim
