This is an interesting shape by Moser - thick, broad faceted sides that taper from an octagonal opening at the top to a basically six-sided base. The acid cut-back band around the top adds interest. Ground and polished pontil contains the signature - Moser Karlsbad, engraved in script. According to the book Moser, 1857-1997 (published by the factory), this mark dates to between 1911 and 1938. Moser Artistic Glass, Edition Two, by Gary D. Baldwin, plate 128, shows the same shape in green shaded to clear crystal with heavy intaglio carved decoration. 7.75" tall.
