This may be my favorite score of the Summer! The choker is unsigned but I am pretty sure its Czech? The pictures don't show how rich the green color is. The beads are on a very small chain link & the screw clasp is interesting. Thanks for looking.

Such a fascinating piece of old costume jewelry! The labor that went into this is amazing. The flat rondelles with their super-fine saw-tooth settings and handset crystals are unlike I've ever seen! Rather than cut glass, the green beads, to me, look like Chrysoprase which was fairly popular during the period of the teens-30s. The patina on the ball beads gives the appearance of possibly being silver-plated. It must have shined! Definitely getting a European/Czech Deco vibe from this piece. The hidden bead barrel clasp and chain are a sure sign of high-end, quality construction and supports the wait of the beads, though I've never seen a clasp quite like this in heavy base metal. Great find, Thanks for Sharing!
