Dear friends,
Here is the story I was told from the grandmother.
This clock along with 2 wooden chairs and a chess table belonged to the first King of Greece Otto and found their way to our family since a relative was in the court.
I am trying to find out more and I am posting the pictures, to know if this was made around 1840 -1860 .my email is dennisgiannissopoulos@windowslive.com
I also have all the furniture described above and photos, so any enthusiastic with knowledge is welcome.

    Looks like a Hamburg American Clock Co. model... Which on I'm not sure. Look on the movement and see if there isn't a crossed arrow mark somewhere on the back plate... Google HAC clocks in images and you'll see what I mean. Many pictured bear a strong resemblance to your clock... Here's a history of the company: http://mb.nawcc.org/showwiki.php?title=HAC_history
