Yep ... both watches have the fusee-and-chain transmission. It's an exotic form of drive that is rarely seen in contemporary watches; an elegant solution at the time. The 'fusee' looks like a cone with a spiral groove etched in. Or think of a round pyramid with a spiral groove instead of discrete steps. A very fine chain is wound around the 'snail' and sits in its grooves. The other end of the chain wraps around the mainspring barrel. However the barrel has straight sides and not the cone shape of the fusee.
You can see the silvery chain in the first picture (left). The third picture shows the fusee and the spiral groove that would fit the chain ... the fusee is at the left atop the larger brass gear.
