I am new to this but have always been fasinated by Pocket watches I Never owned one until now. My 79 year old Mother gave me her fathers watch (which she said she never remembered him not having it) it is a Illinois pocketwatch on the inside cover it says 239378 Fahys permenent Quality RR on the watch itself it says17 jewels springfield Illinois Watch Co Double Roller on the side 3390624 Does any one have any info (sorry about the Pics they were done on my phone)This watch keeps good time, This is a Keepsake just interested in the history. I had a feeling I was racing someone.
This database states serial number 3390624 is a 3/4 plate. The out-of-focus photo appears to be a bridge model. I need a better image to see.
