1. PHOTOGRAPH FROM THE RECENT PRAGUE TANGO EXHIBITION, SHOWING LOETZ PIECES, AMONG THEM, TWO SHERRY/MARTINI GLASSES.
2. I HAVE 16 OF THEM. HERE THEY ARE SHOWN WITH A MATCHING SHAKER.
3. MY NEW ACQUISITION: A SET OF 8 CORDIALS, UNSIGNED, 3.5" HIGH.
4. ANOTHER SET, WITH A DIFFERENT PITCHER, WHCH SHOWS A POLISHED PONTIL.
IN REALITY, THIS WAS PERHAPS THE MOST POPULAR COLOR COMBINATION FOR BAR SETS. I AM CONVINCED IT WAS USED BY EVERY SINGLE AND MINOR FIRM MAKING EXPORT DECO.
NONE OF MY PIECES IS MARKED. I HAVE ALSO HAD THEM WITH SILVER OVERLAY. AS AN ARCHEOLOGICAL CURIOSITY. THE SHERRY GLASSES APPEAR IN A BOOK ON MOUNT WASHINGTON GLASS AS AMBERO!
