Beautiful scissors! I can't see discern any markings except for one on the base of a blade, and I can't read it, so sorry, can't help at present. I do know that they're beautiful!
Thankyou Mikkochristmas11 and eye4beauty for the loves and help and it's second picture , right side of lower handle it's starts with an "H":)
Hems303 it's posted:)
Hi, Bellin! I had another look. The only mark I see is in the last photo. I can't discern a single character of this mark/s. I don't have super resolution on my laptop. I think that these hallmarks, as photographed, are perhaps a case for ROBinHawaii and others with magical vision powers or great graphics enhancement skills. That leaves me out, I'm afraid. Can't see. But I'm cheering you on from the sides. : (
Thankyou mikkochristmas11 there is some on the last as well and the second pic and thankyou sweetheart:)
thankyou eye4beauty for your help these are not the same hun :) mine are english , not german and the style is not the same , but thankyou sweetheart for helping that was very nice of you :)

Hello AR8Jason for the love , and this is the item i found at the thrift store today:)
thankyou walksoftly for the love:)
Hi Sean. They are superb!
They are for sewing!
They cut thread.
Grape cutters have different blades as in the German pair: much sturdier.
These are for fine work.
I couldn't possibly comment about nasal hair!
But they would work fine!
The anchor at the bottom is for Birmingham.
It's an anchor, isn't it?
Sheffield is a crown.
Only you can tell for sure.

or

check the date chart by looking for the next mark, an ''m".
The surrounding shape of the punch is important.
It's a small letter not a capital.
That gives you the year: ?
the maker's mark is that large letter at the top.
But are there two letters?
I see a large "H". Is there something else?
At any rate back to the appropriate 925/1000 site and tap on H for the maker and check with their list.
I have an answer.
But I will wait for you to come up with yours first.
This IS a test!

There wasn't a sheath for them?
A case?
A little ball like in the pinterest page? This Gorham one is amazing!

Hello vetraio50 , these are a very cool find , i could believe it last night , after Hems303 story , i did some checking on the bag of very old small shears that i found at the thrift store yesterday for $ 4.99 . and thankyou for the love and sharing the info of the links :) so heres what ive come up with , "H" , Britannia, "m" , and ANCOHOR , on the second picture , on the last picture there is hallmarks as well but just two the "Britannia or lion ", i believe "m" it is rubbed down a little bit .
so far i have a date of 1910? and the mark im still researching
Hi Sean...I've been away from the web for a few hours so missed this when you first posted... How weird is this? You said you never find silver at your "thrift" stores, but here you have! Nice one. Did you say above that it is marked with an "anchor"? If so, then I'm sure you know that it was assayed in Birmingham UK....just 30 miles from where I'm sitting right at this minute.... full circle with another connection between us..lol..... made; "perhaps", in the very workshop I've been salvaging in on my recent copper plate/engraving posts. It's a small world isn't it?
"HENRY MATTHEWS " 1910 OR 1911 THATS MY ANSWER:)
Yup! Just looked at the Hallmarks, definately good old "Brum" (Midlander for Birmingham)
Hems303 , i know i say i never find silver at a thrift store and here i find one yesterday before you posted your story , how funny is that :) and your only 30 miles away lucky you id be happy to live there :) and your right it is a small world:)
thankyou very much Hems303 for confirmation:)
Great find! You know I like sterling! And they are beautiful!
