This is a 1953 magazine advertisement for Fox Head "400" Beer made by the Fox Head Brewing Company, Waukesha, Wisconsin. -- The brewery was established in 1893 as Waukesha Spring Brewing Company and changed its name to Fox Head Brewing Co. in 1920. The brewery was bought in 1962 by Heileman Brewing Co. and promptly closed. The brewery was allegedley mob-owned from 1960-1962. Fox Head "400" beer brand was only made from 1947-1962.
