I am looking for some info. about this chair I have in my collection. Thanks for the help!
I found this chair at a second hand store about a year ago, it was the only one of this kind. I am wondering what everyone think about the age, style, condition, etc.

Hi there
I have a set of these that belonged to my great grandmother. My Mother took great care of them and actually they were used as kitchen chairs my whole life and are still
being used today. I have seen many like them but this is the exact same as mine with the rounded ball in the center of top with two curved lines in it. Ours are from Salem MA. Where did you find this one.
found this in central NJ. A place called Englishtown.
same legs on yours????
the best match I have seen. they are light and sturdy at the same time, I think they are made out of black walnut
