I don't know very much about these clip on earrings; I know that it's made in the 1950's according to its pat. 156452 number on inner hinge, I have not yet cleaned the item, bright blues and turquoise,it is chipped; I'm not sure if it is sterling silver or not; if anyone knows anything about this item please feel free to share I find it really interesting and pretty piece.

Sterling from that era is usually marked, look closely for a hallmark. The style is Mexican.
I keep looking for one but cant seem to find a hallmark; just a pat. # I plan to keep these for myself; do you know what kind of value these clip earrings hold? i hope I get to find more info about this item its one of my favorite items
