What is the "Lettering" at bottom of the glass?
it says volkswagon beetle P Ammon.
I believe it to be a piece of what is called "Steampunk" Art, I would check into the name P Ammon, which is probably the artist. You might find something going that route. Again it is a neat time piece but little outta my field, But it is unique.
