Bought this on ebay and pulled a Daddy-Nobucks move on it! I know, it has some issues but still it's extremely hard to find one in decent condition. I don't think I'm gonna put any strips of paper in this one cause I like the wood showing. Chain is missing from the back, hole thru the center of the logo and some repainting on the metal piece, but just finding one is enough for me.

Hey thanks Michael!!
Thank you Longings!
That's a real scarce piece you found there, Signaholic. What a beauty. An another perfect fit with your nook display. Well Done!
Another beaut for the "s.girl" man! Not much room left in the "nook"!Lookin' good brotha!!
Like rabbits out of hats, you guys are pulling great pieces off the bay!!!!
Well thank you Ed, trukn, Tommy, Dave and Bernie!! I keep tryin as long as I can find the "REAL THING"! Bernie I only have a few places left to hang stuff, maybe I can find a mirror that has the silhoutte girl on it now!
Pulling stuff out...but not from a hat. Nice one Perry. That holes seems like an easy wood putty fix. Then just match the right colors to paint the white and red part. Or leave it be. It's got character.
Nice. I like it! You are putting together a really good assortment of early-mid 20th century advertising items. Very, very cool presentation.
Thanks BELLIN!
Hey Ray and Blaine, I really appreciate this coming from the pros here! I did think about repairing the hole but the paint match would likely be impossible due to the checking of the old paint on the logo. I was gonna get a new silver colored chain for the back, cause the nails are still there, I may still do this, but the hole was already there so decided to use it for now. If there are any other ideas you guys have, throw'em at me.
Thank you Kerry!
Hey thank you ttomtucker!!
I think it is fine just as is. I wouldnt repair it. It really doesnt detract from the item.
I think I'm with ya Blaine! I always try to buy the best condition Coke items but sometimes you just have to buy it because the chances of finding another are slim to none.
Another cardboard menu board just popped up on the bay the other day but it's pretty rough. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221029592855?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
Wow that menu board is pretty baked huh? I think this one has come up before, they just can't seem to unload it. Probably cause it is toasty!
