Bought this lovely vintage gold plated/ruby coloured glass stone brooch at a jumble sale. Unfortunately the back pin is missing, I am hopeful of having it mended one day! Such a pretty little thing!

Thanks AmberRose, I do think it has some age as it not a modern shape either for a moth or butterfly. What cannot be picked up on the photograph is that it has quite large stones across the top of the wings graduating down to minute stones, so there has been a lot of work on it. I am saying gold plated because I cannot find a hallmark but it is definitely not just gold tone! I do love it and pleased others love it too!
