Not sure how these things find me, but I rarely know enough about certain items to talk about them. This is another one of those. It appears to be old. Wood and metal in composition. Not sure if it is from a car, a train, or just a wheel that turned some kind of motor...There are no makers marks that I can find.......................Any help would again be appreciated...Thank you

Automobile or smaller truck,These were commonly used by all the early auto mfg. Steel wheels (Resin coated), came into the auto industry in the 1930's, so this would pre-date them.
