Harrach vase is blown of amber glass with hand painted enamel florals and gold accent trim on the edge of the rim. Applied glass frog is entirely hand painted with enamel. Low footed base has a pontil and hand painted number, .9 on the pontil. The only flaw and forgiving considering the rarity, is the frog has a missing foot. Does not distract as pics will show. Measures 4-3/8" tall with a 1-7/8" rim and the base is 1-5/8" diameters.

I like a lot applied glass pieces, this one is very pretty, thank You for sharing.
Not that it matters, but I thing it is "6.", here where I live we have convention to add a dot to 6's and 9's so we know which is which :D

Wow.. Love it Bellin68. Thanks, for sharing and the compliment. Orrefors is totally new to me, and if I had to say, the quality reminds me of Steuben. You are certainly a sweetie to share all the love you do.

:):):):):)
This is wonderful. The frog looks like he is 3d. The artist and quality back then rivals the pieces of today in my opinion. I love all the victorian and bohemian glass. I think it could be my favorite, second to carnival glass. I do love frogs too...Great piece!
This is a typical Harrach vase, made about 1880-885, this shape exists with many other decorations like lizards, turtles, tear drops etc. too. For details you may look into the new book edited by Jan Mergl "From Neuwelt to the whole World" page 254 ff.
