In the last couple weeks this Corning Glass Daughter's Head Mascot came up for sale. Since it had a nice, perfect, marble base I decided to buy it, and I was very pleased when I got it. Almost a nicer example and it came from the states, so I did not have to go to England's auctions for this one. She's a beaut !~

My first Corning glass mascot, with chromium base, was posted a month ago ! The last photo shows how the background really looked - I deleted the background in the first 3 photos.

Amazing how this survived in such beautiful condition.

Thanks Rob, no pesky chips or bad moulding, and the guy who mailed this to me sent it in a huge box and packed the smaller box inside it. Impenetrable.

Wow, I have the same figure, but mine is mounted in a chrome deco ashtray. It appears to be original to it. Her base is threaded. I wonder if Corning marketed her for different use's?

Hi, yes the patent was originally applied for using the chrome ashtray design and shows that in the patent of 1927. I guess the mother is the harder one to find and all I have found of that one so far is a broken one. Phil.
