Just wondering about my illinois pocket watch and what it is worth.I has its own display case and winds up.Works perfect.was my great grandfathers and cant figure out how to remove back so i can find what model it is.

Nice Piece, If the gold case is not worn through, crystal is not cracked, movement is not rusty and it keeps time, 17-21 Jewel Movement, that timepiece is valued at around $325-$375 ( providing the case is not 14K but is platted which most likely it is. )
Note: the back should "Screw" off, if you cant see a small notch for the back to "hinge" open.
yes i have an identical watch ,and the back screws off but be very careful putting the back ,back on there fine threads and if it is gold it will strip easily.
