Nice graphics on this EMD Diesel. These cards were issued by the Electro Motive Division (EMD), which was part of General Motors.
This was a generic card, with different graphics and text applied according to which railroad was featured on the card. These early Diesels were usually decorated in colorful paint schemes. This may have been in response to usually dirty, black steam engines that preceded the Diesel era.
