-- Founded in 1737, Offley Forrester is one of the oldest Port Houses and rose to prominence under the tutelage of Joseph Forrester, a legendary figure in the history of port. Forrester's life was devoted to improving the quality of port and in recognition of his endeavours the King of Portugal made him Baron Forrester. Today Offley Forrester produces the brand leading ports in the home of port itself – Portugal! -- The jewel in the Offley crown is the Quinta BoaVista (suggesting the dramatic views enjoyed by the vineyard over the Douro Valley), once the home of Barron Forrester and it is now one of the most renowned vineyards in the Douro valley.
