Wyandotte Toys was a company in Wyandotte, Michigan, which is downriver from Detroit. The company produced pressed steel toys from 1920 until it went bankrupt in 1957. My research shows this particular toy was produced from 1938 to 1947. I'm not sure where in that period the one I have was made or if there are any particular indicators. My step dad grew up in Wyandotte and now collects toys made by this company. He gave me this one because his collection consists primarily of planes and trains and the boat just didn't fit.
