found this today for $3.00 and it works , very cool lamp base and i do have a lamp shade that the thrift store gave to me for free :) this is old . i trying to figure out this marking on the very last picture and im wondering who designed this beautiful lamp?

Nice. Had a pair back then. Mine had black shades. Looked good with black and white leather furniture and of course thick, very thick glass top chrome botton end tables.
