Here's another unique item picked up at the recent Schmidt Museum auction. This was snagged at the auction store. It had a $40 price tag on it, which is a great deal, since these usually sell on eBay (if you can find one) for about $250-$300.
These were produced in limited quantities, in 1965, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Root bottle design, produced in 1916.
Heavy box with a metal latch, satin-lined...containing an exact replica of the prototype Root bottle.
I know Chapman Root's secretary...retired now and still living in Florida. She has an attic full of Coca-Cola memorabilia saved during her years working for Mr. Root. And she has a few of these commemorative bottles as well. Which reminds me; I need to contact her soon....to check out her attic!

Nice piece. Have not seen one of these before with the box and original tag. Looks like it was just presented. Great Find.
Nice Ray! Really the only bottle I ever wanted right there.
Great display piece Ray, I've not seen one either!
