The bee Hive Hair do !!!!!!!!Lisa Littlechap doll- 1963 Lisa Littlechap Doll With Original Box. Style No 1200. She is 15" tall and is jointed at arms and legs and her head turns. She is in a Three Piece Chanel Suit. Straight slim skirt and box jacket of brown crepe with blue binding trim and lining, matching sleeveless blue blouse. The Jackie Kennedy clothes of channel style were hot and Lisa had many outfits to buy and of good quality . Her Husband was a Dr and her 2 daughters . Judy Littlechap was said to be modeled after jackie kennedy but not authorized .And she looks much like Jackie kennedy
Her story was Lisa Littlechap is the elegant mother of the Littlechap family. Lisa is a former model, who gave up her career to stay at home to raise her daughters, Libby and Judy. Lisa is a fabulous cook and housekeeper. She is president of the P.T.A. and the best dressed woman in town.
I actually think I wore my hair like this once and dyed a stripe in it like Lisa has . I tried to cover it and my hair turned turquoise in that strip. Again Grounded for weeks. My friends Mom had a beauty parlor and we decided to go there and do our hair . It was a bad idea and I wore a turquoise stripe till it grew out :-)

Neato Mosquito Mani, Nice find and the box too!!! Love it!!! :-)
shes beautiful and stunning:)
Oh, Manikin, I love this! I loved my 'Barbie' dolls and kept them in excellent condition, and their clothes, shoes, hats, and hand bags in superb condition until I was about 40, I think. They were so beautiful. Naturally, I thought I knew 'Barbies', but I guess I missed one. She's wonderful!!! She's a lot taller than Barbie was? Any rationale given for this? (Don't suppose she needed a rationale! Duh.) I so enjoyed hearing an account of this doll, seeing the clear photo of her face, her wardrobe, her elegant coiffure, and hearing an account of your own unique beehive experience. Turquoise stripe? Ah....Thank you! : )
Thank you MiKKo . Glad you also enjoyed my hair story :-)
Thank you Kerry, bellin, mustang and bratjdd :-)
two friends, my ex-wife and i all wore beehive hairdo wigs - w/ the dairy cream swirl - to a halloween party at the dutch ambassador's residence in 1985. we were the doo-wop sisters [and you really didn't want to mess w/ them!]
it was a great party and photos of us still surface every now and again.
Hi Mani,
Yes I too, wore my hair like that once or twice. I'm sure the style will be back again. lol. Real pretty doll.

Kathy I think many of us tried this look and that streak of color was needed to make the swirl show up :-) Love both your stories . memory lane :-)
Thank you Bro(walksoft) . I know you never wore your hair like this lol but I appreciate your love on her :-)
Thank you Scandi :-) xoxo
Nice history to the doll, dated, but better because of it !~
The eyeshadow definitely completes the look!
Hello lovely Mani, hope you are doing well.
Hi Amber :-) Oh yes you had to have blue eye shadow with that hair do :-) How fashion has changed but then I have to admit I would rather go back to this strange look which was temporary than girls today getting tattoo's on faces and necks ect that are forever . Thank you official and gingerakesler for stopping and giving some love on this post :-)
I don't know what it is, weather it's the overdone eyeliner or the dolls stance. But everytime I see it, I think of Boy George. LOL
Gee I have not heard about boy george in years is he still around ? Thanks Rocker for stopping :-))))
