This is probably my all time best decision made to spend money on a passion, that I really couldnt afford. Dont get me wrong. They were very very very reasonably priced considering the add I went to go check out was for Fenton. Oh yeah, It was priced like it too, which is affordable on any budget. I am so glad I did too. I love the old hobnail glass my granny had all over her house. But this was the prettiest and classiest glass I have ever had the honor of purchasing. It was hardly any money at all when I take into consideration that this set list seperatly as $300-$700 for that luscious Master Berry. And as much as $200 for the small sauce dishes. I couldnt believe I was the owner of such a historical and valuable piece of glass....My dreams were and are coming true...I am being able to get better, Higher end pieces to add to what I think is a beautiful but pretty common collection. Ill post more pics of my poor-mans-tiffany glass soon. Thanks to everyone for the love.

I have no idea. I have always grown them for fall decorations. Im going to attempt to dry them out soon and make some birdhouses with them if I'm lucky. problem is I have no idea how to do it. Tried last year but all they did was rot. I have some HUGE ones this year too. Might just build ME a condo in one too! I wish...lol

curious that you would respond to this question on one of my posted items. There are various identifying criteria; in this case one of those is the number of bumps.

20 hobs is consistent with Phoenix Glass and from about the same time frame as Hobbs, Brockunier. Also this shape isn't consistent with known Hobbs, Brockunier pieces. This info is from a knowledgable glass historian.

There was some discussion on whether or not this set was indeed Hobbs Brockunier. It peaked my interest as to whether I was on the right track or not so I contacted a proffessional glass historian and it is in his opinion that it IS Hobbs glass...For all those out there who wanted to know. Im satisfied that the gentleman was qualified to make this determination and the rest of us just need to keep on learning. I always find myself wanting to know more about the glass I own and I thrive to seek out the truth on all my glass...Just an FYI

glad you were able to satisfy your curiosity. Even qualified glass historians sometimes have to agree to disagree; it is not always an exact science as many companies made very similar pieces. It is also often not easy to capture details photographically that are evident when actually handling a piece.
