A gift my mom bought for her mother. This set was bought in 1952 for Mother's day.
The only marking on the bottom is hand-painted.
Looking closer at the 2 pieces I noticed the gold painted design is different and the "porcelain" is also different. The boy is much more glossy.
And can anyone help me find any history on this set. It was purchased in Alberta, Canada.

Is there any markings or names on them ? Look on bottom also . Should be stamped Germany or Japan someplace and a symbol also . Photo it if you find one ok
