As usual, there is a story. I love this vase but the dealer, who had sold me a defective piece, blocked me from his auctions after I gave him a negative (by the way, you give them, E-Bay erases them, no matter their warning that they cannot be removed).
But he lives in the same town as a close friend, so I asked my friend to get it for me. He ended up giving it to me as a present!
And now, why is it so unusual?
1. The size; 16" tall, in perfect condition.
2. The complexity: clear glass cased in white with yellow, blue and red spatter (the Bolivarian flag), a thick cobalt snake and applied foot.
3. And the foot has a polished pontil!
4. A family photo: 12', 16" and 10"

That really irritates me when eBay removes an honest negative. In fact, if you buy something from a seller that has a negative that has been removed, I would expect eBay to pay up if it turns out to be a bad purchase that might have been avoided if the negative had stayed. Anyway, I'm glad this worked out for you.
Great piece Alfredo, never seen with this applied base before.. love it~!
How's this for misattribution
