    I always buy old cookbooks thinking that they'll be collectible or interesting for someone, and they've always turned out to be almost worthless. I think i may have scored on this one though. it's in relatively good condition minus the one page w/ cooking chart on one side and a recipe handwritten on the other. Anybody know anything about cookbooks?

      What a fascinating find! At first I thought that it might be one of your Uncle's cookbooks, but I see that you found this. Hope you have lots of fun with it. It is perhaps a deluxe cookbook because it looks like it has a goodly number of fine photographic illustrations, which was uncommon for the period, I think, and also a bit expensive. Love the logo, presumably the publisher's!!

      The publishers logo is "MacMillan Publishing Co."
