This is a 1954 magazine advertisement for Schenley Reserve Bourbon Whiskey available in a Holiday Gift crystal-bright decanter produced and bottled by Schenley Distributors, New York.
-- Schenley was a liquor company based out of New York, N.Y. with headquarters in the Empire State Building and a distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. It owned several brands of Bourbon whiskey including Schenley, they also owned a controlling interest in Blatz beer. Schenley was acquired by the financier Meshulam Riklis in 1968 who sold the company to Guinness in 1987.
