This is a 1954 magazine advertisement for Old Charter Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey available in the Holiday Gift crystal decanter produced and bottled by Old Charter Distillery Co., Louisville, Kentucky.
-- The "Old Charter" brand was established in 1874 by A B Chapeze, who was operating this distillery on the Bardstown branch of the L&N Railroad. In 1933 the Bernheim distillery acquired the Old Charter Brand but did not start selling the brand until it was fully aged for bond in 1937. Later in 1937 the owners of Bernheim sell the brand to Schenley Distilleries, Inc. In 1987, United Distillers acquires Schenley. In 1999 the Old Charter brand was purchased by the Sazerac Company from Diageo and is distilled in Frankfort, Kentucky at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, which is part of the Sazerac Company.

Hi, Tony! Very unusual ad. I came swooping down on it as soon as I saw it - I was sure that it was a perfume ad. What an elegant whisky decanter! I love the decanter.
The last three were all offered with holiday decanters. They dont say which glass company made them though.
I think it's very beautiful. I wondered if it might be a large flacon filled with choice prefume. Would be fun to find some of these.
I guess after the label was removed it would be a nice reusable bar decanter. Maybe the ads will help someone identify an unknown decanter they have.
After a quick scan of ebay, I see one that says made by "Ball" glass
