This is a 1954 magazine advertisement for I.W. Harper Bourbon Whiskey in the "Longfellow" decanter (designed by E.L.DuPree) produced and bottled by the I.W. Harper Distilling Co., Louisville., KY.
--- Isaac Wolfe Bernheim (1848-1945) was an American businessman notable for starting the I. W. Harper brand of bourbon distilled at the Bernheim distillery he founded in 1896 in Louisville, KY. The success of his distillery and distribution business helped to consolidate the Louisville area as a major centre of Kentucky bourbon distilling. (The "Harper" part of the brand came from a friend who was a well-known Kentucky horse-breeder) The business was sold in 1937 to Schenley Distillers Corp. The brand is now owned by Diageo PLC.
