    Total height is about 5 inches and about 2 1/2 inches on the base. Made of glass. The swivel look of the socket is NOT 90 degrees to the base, so that leaves me here to find out just what this is....

      What it looks like you have is a glass candlestick telephone that held candy. It's missing the wire that holds a wooden receiver. several of these candy candlesticks are on Ebay.
