Just bought a couple old, police officer nightsticks to add to our collectibles. This one is 22" in over-all length, and has a leather strap. I'm guessing that it's about late 1800s-early 1900s ? It's solid wood, it's original and not loaded(no lead fill). The man I purchased it from, said it came from & was carried roughly back in the 50s-70s by a small-town, motorcycle police officer right here in PA. This one was said to be carried while on his motorcycle. Some wear showing on the tip of the "business end" looks like it could have been from vibrations while carried in the holder on the bike?
I would like to see a category added for old Police & Law Enforcement items.

Good idea. Only if it could talk. Bet a few interesting stories to be told. And, rightfully so, I'm sure.
