Just bought this necklace. Anyone know about it?
I know Les Bernard has a line of necklaces using this type of clasp
and I saw on ebay that someone was selling reinactment Viking
chain necklaces with this clasp in carved bone, but this one
is enamel and looks like Art Deco to me. Egyptian revival?
I know the Chinese made lots of enamel necklaces, but this doesn't look Asian to me at all. Seems likely Italian or Czech. Certainly the colors are Art Deco period. It is about 30" long.
Anyone have anything more concrete on this? Thanks.
