This is a 1955 magazine advertisement for Hiram Walker's Cordials produced by Hiram Walker & Sons, Inc. Peoria, Illinois.
-- Hiram Walker started producing spirits in 1858, and he pioneered numerous distillation and manufacturing processes that are now industry standards. Hiram Walker was one of the first alcohol producers to begin placing labels on his bottles. At the time of this ad, there were 18 distinctive flavored cordials offered. There are nine different shown; Creme de Menthe, Orange Curacao, Peach Flavored Brandy, Creme de Cacao, Apricot Liqueur, Rock & Rye, Blackberry Brandy, & Triple Sec Kummel. Hiram Walker now produces one of the broadest portfolios of Liqueurs in the world - 43 distinct and naturally delicious products from contemporary Schnapps to classic Brandies. Hiram Walker is one of very few manufacturers to utilize only all-natural flavors in its entire liqueurs line-up. The line of Hiram Walker products consists of 43 Schnapps, Brandies and Bar Essential Crèmes and Liqueurs. Hiram Walker's Schnapps line-up includes Peach Schnapps, Peppermint Schnapps, and Butterscotch Schnapps. Brandies include Blackberry Brandy and Coffee Brandy, and Bar Essentials line features Triple Sec, Amaretto, Blue Curacao, Sloe Gin, and Anisette. Seasonal Liqueur line includes Pumpkin Spice and New Gingerbread.
