Can anybody help to identify this item. From the looks of it, I think it to be an Icebox, but I cannot find any info on this particular unit, i.e.: period etc.
I discovered it behind an old warehouse, stripped the layers of paint carefully, and only then could I see the beautifull engraved door. The hinges and lock was cleaned and all items are original. The inside is small and padded (tin like material) and the top (with door) is about 35cm x 20cm and 20cm deep (also lined with tin like material)
Please help me identify this item and maybe put a value on this.
