Given to Perley Putnam 1830, he died 1863. left this for his boy's kids .He was a captain of a clipper ship died of of France 1849 with 5 children. The women which got the letter about her husband dieing was one of these kids. She left this with our family. Here is her DAR . Rebbecca A Putnam Pickett
