Hello all of you Coca-Cola Lovers and Collectors
I have a post from a couple of years ago entitled my favorite 1953 Panel Truck I was asked hey why no coca-cola decal?? WELL now here it is The Coca-Cola and Wheels for a Cure decals were added as part of a fundraising promotion for prostate cancer awareness. I have enjoyed the great responce from people of all ages. It truly inspires people to relive stories of their youth and memories of cruisin to the SODA SHOP to have a Coca-Cola.

I will be hopefully heading out this summer to many car shows to show off my LARGE Coca-Cola collectable. I get a lot of attention and requests to have photos taken. Like they say "Things go Better With COKE!!"
Well I agree and cruisin in the 1953 Panel is getting better all the time.

Please enjoy the pics and happy collecting everyone

I have had alot to do with the restoration over the 12 YEARS THAT I HAVE BEEN THE "PROUD OWNER" THE BEAUTIFUL THING ABOUT THIS RARE RIDE IS THAT I HAVE KNOWN THIS Panel since about 1980 When a friend Ken S picked it up of the second owner The first owner was THE CANADIAN ARMY and the nomaclature is still affixed to the drivers door March 9th 1953 PO # 483 cdlv i
I believe........ But I could confirm that po #
I am in the process of doing a complete drivetrain upgrade to a 350 with a mild build and a 5 speed IROC tranny and posi rear end. I do plan on more road trips in the future and with the trailer I did require a larger power plant. (It was difficult not keeping it stock but it will be a great driver now)
A small list of some of the more unique items are 6 bolt SHELBY SLOTS with 275/60/15s Dunlop GT Qualifiers on all 4 corners. Heated power leather seats out of a Chrysler 300M. Fulton SUNVISOR, AAHHHOOOGGGAAA Horn oh and yes a Large COCA-COLA logo (With Permission from COKE)
I publish a car and events magazine called WHEELS OR WATER WOW for short and I am very involved in the OKANAGAN cruising and car culture. Many of the events that I am involved in raise funds and awareness for various cuses such as Prostate Cancer. MS and The firefighters Burn Fund and camps etc.
I had some help from the "MOVIE" industry when I was back in Winnipeg and the panel was painted ARMY GREEN back to like it was when it rolled out of the plant in Ontario. It didn't get much on screen time 32 seconds but the money they paid helped in the final paint job 7 years ago.
Looking forward to many car shows this year and some Coca-Cola picking.
The one Coca-Cola item I will be looking for is a porcilan DOOR KNOB imbossed with Coca-Cola I have one but I cracked it in half while drilling the metal to mount it on my stick shift. I am sure another one will appear this summer.

Thank you for your interest in MY LITTLE COLLECTABLE 1/1 scale truck
