I found this partial set of Jeanette Glass while on my way to run some errands a couple of months ago. I dont know alot about this set except it was produced around the 1960s or 70s by Jeanette Glass Co. The platter you see is close to 13", which is quite large, more like a charger I reacon. What I found really amazing is that both the creamer and sugar bowl still had the original price tags on them! One was $0.35 and the other $0.39! Pretty remarkable they were still intact. My guess is that they were never used, but rather just admired. They are now in my old buffet to be admired by me and my family for years to come. Enjoy!

what a lucky find -- amazing what your money could buy back then
glad you liked the birdbaths -- going to try just responding on my site and see if you get the message -- not sure if that worked so will post here also -- such hope someone wises us up -- hate showing up stupid
plan on making a birdbath out of the uranium glass dishes i have picked up at a few of the local auctions and garage sale -- i thought it would be pretty during the summer months with a black lite over head as a yard light -- that will really give my neighbors something to think about -- just posted another item of mine -- take a look it is called the goodwill couch in furniture -- some of these comments will make more sense after you read the info on the couch
This is a nice collection. It is the "Anniversary" pattern. In addition to the 60's and 70's, Jeanette also made the pattern from 1947-49. Enjoy your find!
Thank you tablefullofmemories
for the additional info. I was not away that it was made in the 1940s as well. That might explain the low prices I found on the bottom of the creamer and sugar bowl....
