Monkeyman
(1 item)
Hi. I bought this chair about 20 years ago at a farm auction. it was pretty rough, so I refinished it and recovered it. I did keep the original straw stuffing for the seat. I learned later that I probably ruined it's antique value by doing this. Still, a nice looking chair I think. Can anyone tell me what name or style this is and approximately how old it might be? I have been told an empire chair, a barrel chair, etc. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide!
