This is a Brazilian Rum Jug. -- Cachaca could be translated as Rum, White Rum, or Sugar cane Brandy (which is basically rum) "Bottled in Cassiano & Nascimento, Industry of Brazil 1984 .-- The jug is made of pottery and the stopper is a round pottery topped cork. It is about 5 1/2" tall.
