I was curious if anyone knows anything about this lamp? I have had it for quite a while but have been unable to identify it. I've seen a couple shades on ebay before being sold as swag lamps and unidentified, but none with a base.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Most unusual. Interesting!
The only thing I really know is that it is called a string art lamp shade, people have done the art on lampshades, table tops and a lot of other things. Had to track down a persons art once as her husband died and she wanted to get some of the tables he had done. There is quite a bit of it on the internet on string art. Also a few years ago seen a guy selling his work on the street. Phil.
I really like this! Super hot right now! I have only seen hanging ones.
Wow, that is a work of art. Awesome :)
