Any idea what this is for, and what the mark is? I don't know this mark. On the bottom is VB and a small sticker for Made in Japan. It's a little larger than an egg cup, but still very small and in that jazzy 1930s-40s yellow that I like.
Upon reflection, maybe it's actually a tiny bud vase for use with a flower frog, or a tiny bulb planter. I don't know. I'm hoping someone else does!
