I love this simple coffee pot by Sheffield (USA Made). It's simplicity states it all--the simple design fits in any decor and it truly a piece that transcends time. Uncertain of its original (circa 1930--1950). The markings on bottom: Sheffield Silver Plated Made in USA, LLLL (not sure if this is IIII or 1111 or LLLL. There is a crown marking in the center middle and above
the crown on either side are: x and a lion's head. I believe I have a creamer--can't locate it. The piece tarnishes but wipes clean with a silver or toothpaste mix to a beautiful satin gleam finish. Would like to actually ID this piece to it's original date and craftsman (artist). Do not know its exact value--would like to know. I believe it could have been purchased in NJ/NY possibly Pa.
