Inherited these fine pieces. Recently discovered this is a Sushi Set. Chikaramachi Made in Japan on back of dishes plus 8364 and bell symbol on back. Ivory oval platter with 6 small sushi oval saucers. The floral gold design is around the edges (gold lotus leaf). EBay has similar sets.
