The 70's with long hair and hippies among us :-) I saw that photo of Kerry and his long hair and though gee he looks like my first husband who passed away . But he had that long hair till chemo took it away .
Some styles just never change and yes it was in a pony tail later too :-)

Very Pretty Mani & your husband was a good looking man. I always wore my hair long up till I was about 35 than I started going a little shorter slowly. Now it's fairly short & messy. lol I need a hair dye , I was always blonde, but now its red.

I saw your title and had to comment. I was an extra in the movie "Hair" in the mid-70s when I was in California. Years later when I was living in Rhode Island, one of my good friends/neighbors was Richard Cowsill, whose family wrote and sang the song. He got a kick out of me telling him I was in the movie, lol. I was in the scene where the soldiers were marching onto the transport planes to head off to Vietnam, and no, you probably can't find me in the shots.
Wow dlfd911 what a great chance to be a part of such a well known musical . It would have been amazing to be in . And to know Richard Cowsill . I am a Nam nurse so that scene of them marching off is stuck in my mind . The song had a lot of political statements but putting them aside it is one of the most well know songs and even youngsters have heard of it with the remaking of it several years ago on Broadway or off Broadway . That was was very interesting and thanks for sharing it .

Kerry I have trouble with a radio and keeping a watch running but I hear good :-)
Richard's brother Barry stayed with him sometimes, and we would all hang out at the pool together. Sadly, Barry was in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, and was reported missing after the storm passed. They found his body weeks later.
Oh that is sad dlfd911 :-( I did not know that . So many people killed by mother nature and we ask why with great sadness.
