This is an Item I won in an online auction, I probably paid too much but I really liked the color and it is perfect for all the cakes my wife makes from time to time. Any ideas who might be the maker, please let me know. I paid $48.00 which I dont think was too terrible considering it is amethyst and those seem to run a little higher than the clear glass ones Ive seen...Thanks for looking!

these also work nicely on those birdbaths you are planning on designing -- this color would go nicely with the uranium

Thanks epson233! I agree it would be great to include. Not sure if I can tear it away from the wife though. That, and Im not sure I can justify using something that almost cost $50. On my budget I think I have to be more thrifty on what I can invest. But I agree, it would be something great to use!

your pretty cake stand is a recent production piece. This cake stand is seen on eBay in various colors of glass on a fairly regular basis, but usually not identified as to maker. R list it a Carmen by Global Amici Crystal.
