After the great response to the French opalescent glass I posted here I thought some of you might enjoy seeing my latest little treasures. Not a bad deal for $11.00 dont you think. I think the hobnail glass will forever remain my favorite but the colored pieces are not as plentiful as a few years back. And when you do find them they are getting more and more pricey. Thats why I snatched these up the other day when I was out shopping at my local antique and thrift stores. It was 50% off day and all the good stuff was gone. Found these two hiding away in the wrong aisle or they would have been gone too Im afraid. As it it luck was on my side a little bit and I came home with most of my money still in my pocket and these two little treasures of Fenton glass.

My goodness that was a stroke of luck. Where do you keep them all? Or do you flip some, keep some, foster some?
haha AmberRose. I am running out of room in my house to display them all. Im looking at building some more shelves as we speak. Ot I might have to purchase another display case. What does "Foster Some" mean?
all your new post are very pretty jay -- i love this color also -- currently watching two opalescent swans on ebay for the bathroom
Thanks to all the love out there. Im sorry Ive been absent for a while, I rented some space at a local antique store and have been very busy setting up and doing research. I hope it does well enough to at least support my love for glass and allow me to contiue adding to my collection. Thanks everyone!
